This is a stunning circa 1995 Nina Ricci whose twin we just saw on Geo whose twin we just saw on Giovanna Battaglia Engelbert. I've included some of those photos here so you can see how it fits on the body. It's gathered through the bottom with a low dropped waist. There's a large bow at the centre with a black silk flower and a second bow on the side of one hip. A double layer of ruffles create a beautiful peplum around the hips, and the each layer is pleaded into the low way seem to hold the volume that you see. Under that the skirt explodes out words with yards and yards of silk tap up. Inside it's lined in the lining has a wide band of horse hair stiffening through the inner skirt with a lining underneath that. This helps support and give the skirt its structure and shape. It's phenomenal. Excellent condition

Fully lined in a black silk and closes with a side metal zipper. There's two additional linings underneath the top skirt as described above. The inner bodice has built-in cups and light wiring for some support and shape. Tagged a vintage Nina Ricci size 38.

Total length: 53" from the top of the bodice to the hem
