:: Covered field in floral sprays atop a deep cobalt blue ground and an unusual pale platinum rose shaded main border in a period correct painted rug. Very high gloss sheen and luster wool with silk-like appearance. Colors and shades include: Navy blue, ivory, subtle platinum rose, fuchsia, pale raspberry red, dusty powder blue, sky blue, dusty turquoise green and more. Condition notes: Mostly even short pile across. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. A few localized areas of freckling from wefting showing through in the center of the rug. A period correct painted rug to the fuchsia raspberry shade. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Sarouk rug made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 4'3" x 6'8".
