Romantic and elegant 1930's gown. Black silk crepe decorated with clear micro glass beads trailing across the neckline, straps, and back. Two black peony-esque flowers are appliqué to the back of the waist. The petals are made of matching black silk crepe with raw edges and the flower centers are decorated with pollen yellow imitation stamens. Flounce below the flowers at rear. Diamond bias paneling at front of gown. Incredibly flattering construction with movement and curves in mind. Great vintage condition, no flaws to note. Likely homemade which adds a warmth and charm to this almost century old piece.
